• Gowns

After a very slow start from the factory in Cape Town we have now stabilised our supply of disposable plastic gowns (40 micron).

These are supplied in quantities of 50 gowns at a price of R580.00 inclusive (R11.60 per gown)

The project has helped to create employment for 4 people and we are very proud to be part of this.

• Masks

FFP2 masks from 3M – R284.38 per pack of 20.

There is a massive constraint of supply of masks / respirators globally. Some countries have also implemented export bans which has compounded this and there is an approximate 6-9mth delay on supply of the 3M 1860 masks (N95)

The alternative that we can offer is the 8810 mask which is a FFP2. These are manufactured at the 3M manufacturing facility in Maple Park, Johannesburg.

3M usually supplies this mask to the Industrial Industry but based on the current situation will make this available for Healthcare customers provided the user is aware of the differences.

European Union (EU) standard FFP2,

It must be said that additional PPE such as face shields should form part of the Standard Operating Procedures as these masks are not fluid resistant.

For visors we have two options
